Spectators are permitted to walk around the range, but will not be permitted in the stage area or to handle any of the shooters weapons.
FIREARMS HANDLING AND RANGE
Under no circumstances will shooters be allowed downrange unless it is in the stage criteria. When you are finished shooting, you must show the RO your gun is empty, and re-holster if a pistol, or show empty rifle/shotgun to them. Then, you will be permitted to carry your guns in a safe manner and stow away.
When doing a multi-gun stage, all guns will be only set down in a handgun box with chamber open and gun empty…then you can pick up other gun and continue. No gun shall be dropped or set on ground. A dropped gun will stop the match, an RO will help you pickup gun, and you can re-do. If you drop a gun, DO NOT PICK UP WITHOUT AN RO PRESENT. No muzzle shall ever point more than 180 degrees of your direction, and no muzzle shall ever point over the berm hill….Any of these above violations will result in disqualification and possible ejection from match.
In the event of a serious violation or injury during a match, the RO will yell to stop the match, then will re-start the match only when he deems it safe.
In the event of an accidental discharge within close proximity of shooter or RO, the RO will yell to cease fire, then have shooter unload and show clear, and then will be asked to leave range.
When carrying guns from station to station, all guns must have visible chamber flags inserted in chamber. No Exceptions.
